Murcia

things we love about Murcia... the sangria, the buildings and squares, the weather (it was 30 but is now merely the low 20s, being evening), the tapas, the friendly people, the fact that it's in Spain...

the only downside is that we're in a photo-upload free zone - thanks movistar network - typical telecom, partnering with the not-so-good networks.

tomorrow we're off to granada, but tonight we're in the rincon pepe hotel, with pink marble floors and a lot more fun to be had when we venture out for dinner this evening...

hasta la vista :)

  1. Sounds idyllic - and in Spain too! That's a relief.
Sarah you know Telecom is crap - so why is it a surprise they link to other crap networks?
Vic graduation this pm followed by budget briefing in the Minister's office. I am wearing a new black dress in honour of both occasions! Figure it will look ok under a gown and when I'm in mourning cos they've dumped on us - again!
Kerry's mother died Monday so am off to another funeral tomorrow pm. She'd be so sick for the last couple of years it's a huge relief but still hard.
And I thought the point of a blog was so that lots of people could share comments - am sorely disappointed... can't wait for drudgey to get back on line...
    have more fun

  2. Well davidsonj seems to be striving for the moral high ground of regular comments so had better do something about it.
So here we are in the cloudy misty coolness of Greater Broadmeadows. Have just done a quick dash to countdown and muffin break for lollies and coffee (?) so who really needs sangria and tapas I say.
Whanau hui last night. TRCC planning meeting this afternoon. Then off to OPC at sparrows in the morning to see the kids who have spent the week running, kayaking, rogaining etc around the central plateau in the cold and the damp all week. Then back first thing Saturday a.m. for the BOT induction afternoon.
God Italy looks good but a long way off!!

  3. Budget doesn't sound great for the education sector, but I'm liking the drop in company and individual tax rates. And just as well you're out of the rental property game (shezz the IRD is going after property investors big time ... and they just got a big $$ boost to help them do it)
