Here we are on the cantabrian coast. After days of hot weather we reach spain's best beaches and it's cloudy, wet-ish and not that warm. Apparently it's sunny everywhere else in spain today!

ReplyDeleteCloudy and wet-ish, gosh could almost be Wellington...no because here it is still pouring and we haven't seen the sky in days so all we can see is heavy cloud - when we look up long enough from avoiding the enormous puddles that is...truly truly awful. And cold. Dashed out yesterday to get lunch (and actually it wasn't raining then!) and saw most of the school and St Mary's in the local fish and chip shop. I was tempted...but had a nice hot chicken salad instead. Did have a few chips as I walked back with one of our Yr 13s...well she offered and it would have been ungracious not to accept.
Our building got MOE approval yesterday - was a very happy girl. Has been hideous waiting..and waiting...and answering dumb questions.
Back into it.

ReplyDeleteas is ever the case, the places called cantabria, canterbury, etc, are uniformly lovely - even when it's not hot!
